Five products that matter
30-year purchase mortgage, new and used auto, HELOC, unsecured personal, and a 12-month CD — the rates members shop most.
For Credit Unions
RateAPI tracks the published rates of 3,700+ US credit unions daily — including yours — and ranks every market by true cost. Scorecards show exactly where your board sits against your in-state peers.
What a scorecard is
A scorecard takes your best published APR for each of five everyday products — a 30-year purchase mortgage, a new auto loan, a used auto loan, a HELOC, an unsecured personal loan, and a 12-month CD — and ranks each one against every in-state credit union we track. It refreshes weekly. Promotional teasers are excluded, so you are compared on the standard rate a member actually gets, and every market shown has a minimum of eight peers so the ranking means something.
Plenty of credit unions are hidden market leaders and simply don’t know it. The scorecard is often the first time a board sees, in one place, that it already has the best auto rate in the state.
30-year purchase mortgage, new and used auto, HELOC, unsecured personal, and a 12-month CD — the rates members shop most.
Every in-state credit union we track with a current rate, a minimum of eight peers per market, and promotional teasers left out.
Rankings move as the market moves, so your board is looking at where you stand now, not a snapshot from last quarter.

Everything on your scorecard is your own public, published rate information — the same rates posted on your website. We gather them from your site and re-verify them daily with page-level proof, so every number traces back to the exact page we read it from.
Yes. If anything on your scorecard looks wrong, email [email protected] and we'll trace it to the exact page and line we read it from. If we misread it, we fix it; if the page changed, the next daily verification picks it up.
Never. RateAPI takes zero affiliate or referral revenue. No credit union can pay to move up a ranking. That independence is the whole point — it is exactly why the ranking is credible when it says you are winning.
Email [email protected] with your credit union's name and we'll send your scorecard and refresh it weekly. Weekly scorecards are a new program, so getting on the list early means you help shape it.
