Corrections
We get data wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it and say so here.
Corrections log
No corrections are logged yet. This page exists so that when a material data error is found and fixed, the record is public — with the date, what was wrong, and what changed.
How we find errors
Rates are collected directly from credit union rate sheets and re-verified daily. Every rate runs through automated anomaly detection that flags unusual changes for review before they reach the API. Because each figure carries the timestamp and source of the data it came from, a wrong number is traceable back to the page it was read from.
How we fix them
- Identify — an anomaly flag, a user report, or an internal audit surfaces a suspected error.
- Verify — we re-check the figure against the source rate sheet and the collection record.
- Correct — the corrected value propagates to the API and the site on the next verification cycle.
- Log — material corrections that affected published figures are recorded above, with the date and what changed.
